“marmite defecates on everything else.” Oh, that SO didn’t make me want to try the stuff. ;-) P.S. I’m Canadian, so maybe PB is a North American thing, not just American. Do you like other nut butters at all? Almond butter is great in everything.
I haven’t tried any other nut butters (unless you include Nutella, but I’m pretty sure that hardly counts). I’d never even heard of almond butter until I started using Tumblr; I’ve never seen it in supermarkets or anything.

I think it’s only in the last few years that nut butters have gone from health food stores into regular groceries in Toronto. Maybe in a few years it’ll find it’s way into NZ. My partner hates PB but likes almond butter. Maybe it’ll work for you.
